Gaining and Sharing knowledge
My interest in software development stemmed from my passion for composing music and the field of tech innovation. When composing music, I had to envision the melody and then translate that vision into musical notes by breaking it down into various components. The same thought process is applicable to software programming.
I've been teaching myself to program different languages such as JavaScript (React + Node), Python, Java, PHP (yes, even PHP), C, and Bash, while passing on this knowledge to future programmers in any way I can. I’ve recently lectured advanced courses at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel.
Besides teaching, I've led engineering at Israeli startups, such as Servicefriend (acquired by Facebook), Houzz and Wix, and I have also led a startup which I co-founded - Tiv.ai.
