Gaining and Sharing knowledge

My interest in software development stemmed from my passion for composing music and the field of tech innovation. When composing music, I had to envision the melody and then translate that vision into musical notes by breaking it down into various components. The same thought process is applicable to software programming.

I've been teaching myself to program different languages such as JavaScript (React + Node), Python, Java, PHP (yes, even PHP), C, and Bash, while passing on this knowledge to future programmers in any way I can. I’ve recently lectured advanced courses at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel.

Besides teaching, I've led engineering at Israeli startups, such as Servicefriend (acquired by Facebook), Houzz and Wix, and I have also led a startup which I co-founded - Tiv.ai.

Co-Founded an NPO

Co-Founded COM.UNITY, in order to bring the benefits of technology to solve global social problems.

The organisation contains a nationwide mobile/web developing program consisting selected groups of programmers and designers, in cooperation with leading Israeli charity organisations and sponsored by leading companies such as Intel, IBM, Amdocs, Check Point, Wix, SAP, Ness, Deloitte and EMC².

Electrical Music Producer

I've been fascinated by the electrical music genre ever since a child. This genre is broad and has various forms - The focus is on the sound and melody, less on the lyrics. I've grouped with the Music producer Dor Golan and created a genre of our own combining piano melodies with the typical Psychedelic trance genre - click here.

More than just a music enthusiast.

I've been playing the piano since I was 9 years old. That was when I've realized the satisfaction and passion for building things. Very quickly, I put aside the classical music sheets and started to compose my own music. I've composed various themes, for movies in particular. You can listen to an example below:
